No mention of the children

The challenge was, a poem as a family portrait. I don’t see much I’d like to fix in

So here is something else:
I thought I saw
A tight knit circle
Of six and four and two

But pop had many sisters
And brothers two. Only one
Stayed with him, when the feud erupted
Caught up in that storm,
We knew only his side,
What little he shared
I’d have asked him so much more
Had he made it passed 104

When college came, of the six, four
Flew to farthest corners all
Vermont Taos, Carolina OR
The other two California, NJ

And now the first of the four is gone
Death again reveals itself
And the primal wound lives on
