A kindness, for no one is stranger

“Treat every single person with care and respect”
Said my yogi, “no exceptions”
And this I try to live, but more often
Than not, it lies more in the background of
My dealings, not the fore.  (work-in-progress)
For you are more like me than I’ll ever admit
And I want to leave this place the better
For me being in it

Thank you, Gist.

  1. I hadn’t thought of this corollary that we are not only kind, we are kindred, and contain some of the same … I knew it but had forgotten. That doesn’t make it easier to “leave this place the better
For me being in it.” Poem to the Point. Very good.

  2. Still waiting to see you respond to other poets.
MANY of us don’t have word verification……
we ALL like comments. And, if I see comments
that you make on others (including mine) I
will respond to your words as well.
