Is there anything more precious than your own baby?
Remember the first time you stepped Into your house
With that baby? You had painted, pink or blue, to prepare
This is not the same house, it was even that morning.

My grandson and wife just had their first baby. I am sure they can identify with this!

A thought provoking poem, as I read “this is not the same house….” Well done, Eric.

I will never know a grandchild’s cry. It breaks my heart, but I count it joy for every family who welcomes a baby into their home.
